P.S.R.K. Bhagavan (Pamu Sri Rama Krishna Bhagavan) was born on 12th August 1957 in Balanthram, near Draksharamam in Kakinada, East Godavari. He is the son of Subba Rao and Sesha Veni and is married to Satya Kumari. They have three children: elder daughter Vijaya Lakshmi and two sons Veera Prakash and Sudheer Kumar, all of whom are well-settled in the United States.

Bhagavan has dedicated his life to philanthropy and social service. In 2003, he founded Bhagavan Swachanda Seva Samstha, a charitable organization that continues to serve communities at free of cost. His commitment to social welfare includes a 25-year tenure as Honorary President of the Kukatpally Kapu Corporation. He also served as President of the Kukatpally Business Cell and later becoming the State Business Cell Secretary for the combined Andhra State in the Telugu Desam Party. He launched Bhagavan Chits Private limited in the year 1996 that remains operational.

Under the auspices of Bhagavan Swachanda Seva Samstha, his noteworthy contributions include:

  • Sri Krishna Devaraya Kalyanamandapam: Bhagavan funded the construction of this wedding hall in Balanthram with his own resources, amounting to 2 crore rupees. The hall facilitates free marriages for all, regardless of caste.
  • Srikrishna Devaraya Statue inauguration cermony: He has been instrumental in promoting cultural heritage and societal development. Notably, he installed statues of Sri Krishna Devaraya in Nizampet X Roads (2004) and Serlingampalli (2023).
  • Kapu Vivaha Vedika: In his presence, he took the responsibility to arrange the marriages of more than 100 couples at no cost through this initiative.
  • Blood Donation Campaign: Organizing a blood donation drive for the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Bhagavan mobilized 540 donors, a record high under any individual’s name. This effort earned him an appreciation certificate from the esteemed actor and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Shri Chiranjeevi.
  • Educational and Cultural Contributions: Bhagavan has significantly impacted education by establishing two colleges. He has also been an pioneer for cultural activities through his organization Rasagna, founded in 2001. Rasagna has supported numerous artists, hosted a Blind Persons Orchestra, and honored legendary actor Allu Ramalingayya with an 80-gram gold bracelet, bestowing upon him the title “Hasya Rasagna.”
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities: Bhagavan contributed more than 2 crore rupees to society through various initiatives.
